100% of the proceeds from this Weightlifting Competition/Fundraiser will go toward subsidized memberships, passes, access to the gym, as well as planned 2022 FREE WORKSHOPS that will pay coaches/staff well for their unique skills and knowledge, and their continued mission to improve access to strength training.

As our first ever WEIGHTLIFTING competition, will have a maximum of THIRTY (30) Competitors/athletes to show off their training and lifting in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting; Snatch + Clean & Jerk. Newcomers & experienced atheltes all welcome! (This is a non sanctioned weightlifting meet). If you've always wanted to compete but have been intimidated about the whole formality of a sanctioned meet, come by and smash some weights with us!

There will be NO weigh ins, NO weight classes and/or NO gender classes. There is NO singlet requirement to compete. BARBELL slams not necessary, BUT highly encouraged!

All other rules, with the exception of notes above, will be followed as a traditional weightlifting compeition; Competition will be organized based on opening numbers for BOTH lifts; each athlete will be allowed THREE (3) ATTEMPTS for each lift. Additionally we will have a maximum of THREE (3) heats and competitors will be contacted prior to competition date which heat they will be competing in.

Competitors will be contacted ONE month prior to confirm submission of their OPENING numbers

PRIZES will be given to competitors in each heat based on the following categories; Best walkout song, best bar slam, best outfit, & best technically proficient lift
