Want to learn what it takes to become a Weightlifting Technical Official? Well, we are excited to announce that IWF Category 1 Technical Official Sally A. Van de Water will be joining us virtually on May 16th at 3pm. For those who do not know, Sally will be a Technical Official at the Tokyo Olympics this Summer. She will be the first woman to announce for the sport at the Olympics. She knows the rules better than anyone, and we are lucky to have her.
This clinic is free for all, and will cover the rules of the sport, best practices, the different official positions in competition, and how to advance as a referee. This clinic would be great for anyone who is involved in the sport as an athlete, coach, or looking to become a technical official. Those who are new local officials will find this clinic especially beneficial.
